Equipped with KR C2 software versions 4.1.4 or 5.2.17, these are ideal cost effective robots with high performance. Work area utilised through fist shaped envelope which minimises dead space. The small footprint of these machines is also worth mentioning.

The KR 150, 180, and 210 have high payloads ranging from 110 kg to 210 kg. They are robust enough for functions such as spot welding, handling of parts, machining, loading and unloading of parts, palletizing, press tending, handling and loading/unloading tasks. This is achieved with repeatability of 0.2 mm.  The system is expandable with use of highly compact cabinet and has two free slots for external axis.  Motion profile function is available for optimal interaction between each motor and its velocity.

The KR C2 is anchored on windows interface which provides a user friendly interaction. Software packages are available to facilitate programming, while integration with external networks is made possible through DeviceNet and Ethernet slots for common bus systems.

The KUKA control panel is ergonomically designed with fewer demands while remote diagnosis is provided for. Data can also be backed up using Floppy disks or CDs. Other available robots with similar features include: KUKA - KR125/2 KR150/2 KR200/2, KUKA - KR125 KR150 KR200, KUKA - IR 360/125/150/200, Fanuc - R-2000iA 165F and Kawasaki - ZX165U control C
