IRB 4400 M2004 is a low maintenance robot with a loading capacity between 45 to 60 kg at very high speeds. This extremely fast machine has been built for medium to heavy handling and permits handling of two parts at a time, making it suitable for a variety of manufacturing tasks.
Its rigid body provides a well balanced posture together with the inserted TrueMove function, which provides for a smooth and fast movement throughout the entire working duration. This ensures very high quality in applications such as cutting and easy to manipulate its speed and flexibility as deemed fit by the buyer.
The robot has been found to have high levels of reliability contributed by its firmly build arms made of steel to provide good balance. It also comes with a gear box provided for free to assist during cabling and maintenance.
The IRB 4400 robot is equipped with the latest IRC5 controller. It is worth noting that the IRC5 is ABB’s fifth creation machine controller whose movement command technology comprising of TrueMove and QuickMove enable high accuracy and performance in the IRB 4400 series. As such, this makes the robot dynamic and flexible resulting in high efficiency in the shortest time possible. In addition, the high speed and performance are delivered automatically with no tuning required by the programmer.
The robot has got a simple programming language referred to as RAPID programming language. It entails unlimited language comprising of newly improved features which have got a powerful support for many other functions and applications.
The robot is also quite effective in terms of communication. This is because of the IRC5 controller which supports the IRB 4400 robot in having a well behaved, state of the art connection with other networks. This includes; a powerful sensor interface which can be accessed remotely.
